Another Part Going Obsolete
Murata has announced discontinuing their 3KV type 2 disk ceramic capacitors. These are the units I provide as plate coupling caps for the finals. They are a very good cap, we've sold hundreds of sets in the Final Cage Partial Repair Kit without a single complaint or problem. Murata's last order date September 2019. That gives us some time. I will try to stockpile some, but there's limits to how many I can afford to buy. It is recommended that you obtain a Final Repair Kit and keep it it reserve if you don't already have one. It seems like our kind of parts are disappearing from distribution. The new technology just doesn't use the parts that were so common to our electronic products and projects. Time marches on.
